Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

• Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your personal JDT Expeditions guide, who will welcome you with a smile and a “Karibu Tanzania” (Welcome to Tanzania). The guide will then escort you directly to your hotel, where you can relax and begin to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Africa. The next day, your private safari begins, offering you the flexibility to explore at your own pace in a luxurious safari jeep, with plenty of opportunities to stop and observe the wildlife for as long as you like.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

• Explore the wonders of Tarangire National Park, known for its vast herds of elephants and impressive baobab trees, some of which are hundreds of years old. The park’s Tarangire River is the only water source during the dry season, drawing large numbers of animals, including herds of up to 250 elephants. Enjoy a full day of game drives, witnessing this spectacular wildlife in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Including Crater)

• Visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders, formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption. The fertile lands of the crater now support a diverse ecosystem, offering a unique chance to see the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa, including lions, zebras, buffaloes, and black rhinos. Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you explore the crater and its stunning landscapes.

Day 4: Departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport

• On the final day of your safari, you will have some time to relax at your lodge before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. If you wish to extend your stay, consider adding a few days to your holiday by visiting one of Tanzania’s beautiful paradise islands, such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia.
