Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

• On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your personal JDT Expeditions guide. After a warm welcome, you will be driven to your lodge where you can unwind and enjoy the African atmosphere. The next day, your private safari begins with a personalized experience, traveling at your own pace in a luxurious 4×4 safari vehicle.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

• Start your safari adventure in Tarangire National Park, known for its huge elephant herds and spectacular baobab trees. During the dry season, you’ll see large herds of elephants gathering around the Tarangire River. Spend the day on exciting game drives, exploring the park and encountering a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

• Next, visit the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The caldera is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the endangered black rhino. The day will be spent exploring the crater floor, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views and encounter some of Africa’s most famous animals.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

• On Day 4, travel to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Known for its incredible biodiversity and the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains, Serengeti offers excellent opportunities for game viewing. Enjoy a full day of safaris, taking in the vast landscapes and spotting predators, herbivores, and other unique wildlife.

Day 5: Departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport

• On the final day of your safari, enjoy a relaxing breakfast at your lodge before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight. If you’d like to extend your stay, you can opt to visit Tanzania’s beautiful islands such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia.
